Bolivian Ram is a breed of endemic fish to the Amazon River Bay in Bolivia and Brazil. The species is essential for the family Cichlid and subfamily Geophagine. It is a well-known aquarium fish, marketed under the common names Bolivian butterfly, Bolivian slam, ruby crown cichlid, and Bolivian smash cichlid.
