Golden Dwarf Barb (Pethia gelius) * WILD *

Golden Dwarf Barbs are vibrant, peaceful community fish perfect for planted tanks and nano aquariums. These small, active barbs display striking golden coloration and enjoy shoaling with their own kind. They thrive in soft, slightly acidic water with plenty of vegetation for grazing and shelter. Ideal for beginner to intermediate aquarists, Golden Dwarf Barbs are hardy and adaptable. Keep them in groups of 6 or more to encourage natural schooling behavior.

They feed readily on quality flake food, micro pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods. Water parameters: 22–26°C, pH 5.5–7.0, soft to moderately hard water. Minimum tank size 20 liters for a small group. Compatible with other peaceful community fish, shrimp, and plants.
