Spanner Barb (Barbodes lateristriga) * WILD *

The Spanner Barb is a striking wild-caught freshwater fish prized for its distinctive horizontal stripe pattern and active schooling behaviour. These energetic fish thrive in well-planted aquariums with moderate water flow and prefer to be kept in groups of 6 or more for optimal social dynamics. 

Temperament: Generally peaceful with similarly-sized fish, though males may display mild territorial behaviour during breeding.
