Zhou's scarlet goby is a striking freshwater fish prized for its vibrant red coloration and active personality. This small goby thrives in well-planted aquariums with gentle water flow and plenty of hiding spots among rocks and vegetation. They are peaceful community fish but may show territorial behavior toward other gobies. Zhou's scarlet gobies prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions and benefit from regular feeding of small live or frozen foods. Their compact size and bold coloring make them an excellent choice for planted tanks and nano aquariums seeking visual impact.
